A different way to deliver
We are building a core partnership of experienced practitioners, supported by a trusted network of independent specialists.
Together we collaborate on complex delivery challenges while sharing ownership, supporting one another, and ensuring the rewards of success flow to those delivering the value.

Many experienced delivery professionals now work independently.

They bring deep expertise and real-world experience, but often operate in isolation – moving between contracts without a natural professional home.

Some independent practitioners also want to be part of something bigger: taking on larger programmes as a team and accessing a genuine peer network for collaboration and support, where everyone has real skin in the game.

At the same time, working within larger consulting organisations or through recruitment agencies has shown that typical structures, hierarchies, and overheads can sometimes create distance between practitioners delivering the work and the value they create.

If you’ve felt this, Sentien was created to offer an alternative.

The Sentien Model
Sentien is designed to operate differently from traditional consulting structures. Rather than large permanent teams supported by heavy overhead, we maintain a lean leadership core and collaborate with experienced independent practitioners when the right opportunities arise.

This allows us to bring together the right expertise for each engagement while ensuring that those delivering the work remain close to both the client and the value created.

For practitioners, it provides independence alongside a trusted professional network. For clients, it means experienced people working directly on the problems that matter.

We focus on:

• fair economics
• collaboration over hierarchy
• practitioner-led delivery
• creating a win-win for our team and our clients

If you are interested in joining our core partnership, or our associate Alliance, we want to speak to you.

Sentien Alliance
The Sentien Alliance is a growing network of trusted independent professionals.

Alliance members remain independent, but choose to stay connected through Sentien, sharing experience, knowledge, and opportunities to work together when the right engagements arise.

But the Alliance is more than a loose network of contractors or a bench waiting for work.

It is a formal professional association of experienced practitioners with benefits including coaching access, shared learning, and events that bring practitioners together to exchange ideas and experiences from the field.

For many independent practitioners, the most valuable aspect of the Alliance is not simply access to work through Sentien, but the ability to remain part of a professional community where experience is valued, relationships are long-term, and peer support is there when it's needed.
Independent, but never isolated.

Alliance members typically:

-
as independent consultants or contractors
-
have significant delivery experience in complex programmes
-
value collaboration with trusted peers
-
may be between engagements or open to new opportunities
-
want to remain connected to a professional community

The founding cohort for the Sentien Alliance is kicking off this month - expressions of interest are now open until 12th April.

Partner Opportunities
Sentien has open partnership roles for experienced delivery leaders who want to share responsibility for growing and shaping the organisation.

Partnership at Sentien is not a traditional employment model. It is intended for practitioners who want to play a deeper role in building a consultancy – contributing to its direction, developing client relationships, and collaborating on larger delivery opportunities over time.

Partners remain practitioners at heart. They bring experience, judgement, and trusted relationships, while working together to create a model that is lean, collaborative, and fair to the people delivering the work.

Rather than building a large corporate structure, our partners operate as peers. We share jointly in risk and reward, and commit to building the firm as our primary professional organisation.

Don’t just join a consultancy. Help build one.

Partners typically:

-
are successful as independent solo contractors - but are seeking something more
-
have significant delivery experience in complex programmes
-
value collaboration with trusted peers
-
have existing delivery work and client leads they bring with them to the firm
-
understand commercial models and are comfortable with B2B engagements
-
believe that joining forces with other experienced practitioners leads to a win-win situation for all parties
